How to translate the program interface on-the-fly with mouse clicks

Registry First Aid now supports "live" translation for most of visible strings.

To enable this "Live Translation" mode the program must be started with the "/translate" command-line parameter (without quotes).

To do this just create a shortcut for the main executable file, open the shortcut properties and enter /translate into the Parameters field, or add /translate after the path of the executable file, for example:

"C:\Program Files\RFA 11\RFA_start.exe" /translate

If the program is running in "live translation" mode you can hold the Ctrl key and mouse click on a button or label you want to change it's string. An inpit dialog will appear and there you can replace the string with a new translation. Clicking OK the dialog will close and new changes will appear on the screen immediately.

On closing the program, if there were any changes in visible strings, the program will ask to save the language file. The original language file will be renamed to .bak extension.

Note:
  1. Don't worry, if you do not see some new translated strings after the program reboot. All translations you made are stored in language file under the section [Translated.Not.Found]. Please send us the language file as is.
  2. Not all visible strings can be translated in this way, some controls may not support this function, use MANUAL LANGUAGE FILE EDITING *.
  3. If a selected label is currently disabled then it cannot be translated in this way: either change the condition to have it appear enabled or use MANUAL LANGUAGE FILE EDITING *.
  4. Messages in Warning/Information/Error dialogs cannot be changed in this way. Please use MANUAL LANGUAGE FILE EDITING *.
  5. Files language_name.exc may not be translated - they are used by developers and exclude list maintainers only.

* MANUAL LANGUAGE FILE EDITING: To translate strings please open language_name.lan file in notepad.exe or another program supporting UTF8 encoding and follow the instructions at the top of the language file;

Please send updated language_name.lan and language_name.rmlan files to support and in order to get a free key as a translator.
