Checking for updates

To check for new Registry First Aid versions press the Help button, then click on the menu item Check website for new version.

Screenshot.

Registry First Aid performs version checking to be sure users have the very recent version. If a new version is detected then user will be prompted to open the web page to read more about the latest version and how to download the upgrade. These updates are usually free, unless there is a major version upgrade (i.e. from 3.x to 4.x), in which case this will be clearly explained with any upgrade discounts.

No any personal information can be sent out. The program can send only the installed version number and installation ID; it will retrieve the latest available program version number and update info from the home website.
